Sperm Counting Chamber (Disposable)

The Foundation of Accuracy: Standardizing Semen Analysis with the 10μm Sperm Counting Chamber

What it is

A precision-engineered glass Sperm Counting Chamber specifically designed for the quantitative analysis of sperm concentration and motility. It features a calibrated depth (typically 10 micrometers) to ensure sperm can swim freely in a single focal plane.

Why it is Essential

Precision in counting is the bedrock of andrology. For viscous samples, use our Liquefaction Kit first to obtain representative aliquots. Eliminating Overlap: Standard 100μm chambers (like Neubauer) are too deep, making it impossible to focus on all sperm at once. Ensuring Motility Accuracy: A 10μm depth is sufficient for "Progressive Motility" to be observed without the "wall effect" seen in 20μm chambers. Reliable Diagnostics: Essential for diagnosing Oligozoospermia (low count) and evaluating the efficacy of male contraceptives or infertility treatments.

How it Aligns with Standards

The chamber is manufactured to the strict tolerances suggested by the WHO. Its rigid glass construction ensures that the volume remains constant, reducing the Coefficient of Variation (CV) compared to disposable plastic slides.
